Live in Sydney

Today marks my third day in Sydney; I arrived early on sunday and spent part of the day with my uncle Myron and his two girls. Monday was spent at the conference and doing some limited touring. I toured downtwon Sydney (well part of it) today as well as spoke at the conference.

Sydney is quite amazing and beautifil but expensive. It has the nice mix of European and Asia going on. The sidewalk cafes are quite unusual as well

heading to Australia

I am ten days away from heading to Australia for a week. I will be speaking at a SOA conference in Sydney. It is pretty cool. They conference is picking up my hotel, air and expenses while I speak over the course of three days. I am looking forward to seeing the beaches and generally visiting some place so new.
