A new job gained and a passion lost

The great news – on Monday I will start a new job at Wells Fargo. I will move back under my old boss, Keith, working as an architect. It involves a little more money and a promotion.  I have loved working for Keith and he and I make “good music” together. Super excited, nervous and anxious in the same breathe. New area of the bank, real estate lending, for me which will move out of my comfort zone. I am in a whole new ball game so its time to climb a new mountain. Should be interesting and makes 2010 a real challenge.

Its NCAA basketball tournament time. And for the second  season in a row I am very clueless. I did not follow the college basketball season at all. It is a combination of me being Anna’s swim taxi which means I miss all of the early games and me just not being interested. College basketball is over saturated. It seems like every week ESPN has some sort of week  to hype games. Not sure if it is fatigue from college football and the NFL but it feel like by Feb. I just do not care like us to. Maybe is because I have other priorities. But I know that my passion for college basketball is just less. I do believe some of it is with the ACC expansion. I HATE what it has done to basketball.  I mean hate it. UVA and UNC play once a year. Great rivalry at times just gone. The ACC tournament is water down as well. Oh well, lacrosse season has started and apparently ESPNU HD is coming online just in time.
